common test is hovering over my head in just a matter of few days, and for all those who are feeling stress – like many others, just a simple note for you.

You don’t have to be the best, but just be your best.

so come home running, just as you are.
come home running, his arms are open wide.
he understands.
He is the answer that you are looking for.
so come home running, just as you are.

run run and more runs. My mind echoes the thought of running but i will not.
Giving up, has vanished from my dictionary of life. Gone were the days where giving up seems to be appealing. :D

in any case, DAVID IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF MANY THINGS BUT ON THING HE REALLY NEEDS IS STRENGTH.
He is under a great amount of stress both internally and externally.

if the there is only one thing that could tug his heart so badly, it would be people. More than that, he’s push against the wall by time and the datelines. Common test, missing out lessons due to facilitating – in short, it’s school wrk. ODAC expedition is few weeks away. Where he will be gone for civilizations for say six days. This sound the trumpet of great anxiety and disaster. He wants to meet up his sheep super badly, but time. It’s not that you have no time, rather it’s how you manage your time. Since another six days will be burn, his studies is just rim of the flames. Ultimately, what could still tug the hardest is still people. :D BECAUSE EVERYONE MATTERS.

so all i need now is just STRENGTH. :D
thanks!

If every deed that we do has a repercussion, then i think each right deed will produce smiles but every wrong comes with a heavy atonement.

Meaning, there is a price that we have to pay for every wrong doing. Since the heap of payback is that humongous, then how on earth are we going to pay them back?

The question i guess we will have to face at the end of day is this:

Who will atone for all your wrong doings?

Yearly, Chinese New Year has been an event that my sense of euphoria has depleted bit by bit. Not that the artificial notes are getting lesser, but it is the self restriction on food i have to impose bitterly on my tragic life.

Though such goodies are pleasing to the mouth, but excessive intake will cause detrimental ripple implication to your physical body, especially the united nation. It is in period like these, all motivation to remain healthy and keep fit seems to vanish into thin air. The consequences, fat tummy that will develop in due time and decrease in stamina.

Likewise, treating ourselves to some reward after hard labor is worth it. However, taking over dosage of it will defeat the value of the reward. Over consumption is bad, the marginal utility also sinks.

Keep watch of what we choose to reward ourselves, for it will have a effect on our lives. Consume the right things. :)

I am thankful for the pause in school curriculum for the next few anticipating days. These few days of recuperation from the exhaustive school work load and the dreading of feet out of my luxurious bed, has been fantastic to me. I could not recount when was the last time, i took a afternoon nap until today. :) I guess the first day of new year has become rather rigid or routine for me. To cut the entire story short, i will spill some remarkable scenes that caught my attention from the movie, Kung Fu Dunk.

Some facts that you should know before darting your eyes downwards:

1. David is not a patron of Chinese movies.

2. If he had knew that he would be watching this movie beforehand, he would have rather done something else.

3. This movie almost spike him to tears.

Basketball is not about dunking, rather it is about teamwork. If you have yet learn how to walk, then don’t attempt running.

For even if you are able to run, it is only the form but not the interconnectedness with the nature as one.

Retrospectively speaking, i would summarize in such a way. All human need acceptance, and once they have found it, they is a high possibility they will choose to be loyal to the giver. In short, this movie was about how Grace found this guy, which took his life a 180 degrees turn. Regardless, if you were doing what is morally right or not, but once acceptance has found you, it is hard to depart from it.

Have you found acceptance? Acceptance is found, when you take the step of initiative. It can only be given, if you choose to take it.

Within life and the world we live in, lies a blanket of expectations that take it forms in speech, actions, unseen pressure etc.  Some live for it, while other ride on it and a fraction of people chuck it behind their back. Personally, i hate to be suffocated under people’s expectation for it is volatile. Whether you like it or not, you have to live under the shelter of expectations for you whole entire life.

The question is, whose shelter of expectations do you live under? And if you do live under that ’secure’ shell, are you certain that this ’shell’ is infallible?

You only get to live your life once, choose where you want to invest it in. With proper expectations, it will propel you to the highest altitude that you can ever achieve.

I live under a state of utopia expectations, that i am certain that it will last through the burning flames. Though utopia, it can be reached. The first step, is intangible.

I love this quote from the song we(ODAC) sang today:

You don’t have to be the best, you just got to be your best.

take the F out of LIFE

infliction of pain, mental abuse, morally degrading actions and emotionally trauma are effective weapons of punishment. With crystal objective to deter man from recurring deviant behavior. Still, the worse torture would be isolation from desperate relational creatures, like us.

Analytically speaking, if we were to be under rapid bombardment of such horrendous pain, it would be better if we were t go through it with another person. The chemistry of tenacity glow, when they suffer together. A mystical energy exist out of no where, there will increase their level of tolerance.

To let a person go through all these alone, rather let him die instantly. Where he would not need to go through the excruciating pain both internally and externally.

In the same light, life is not meant to be go through alone. As the saying goes, if you want to go fast, go alone. However, if you want to go far, go together.

Who are you doing your life with? Some of these will fade away in due time, but there will be little that will pull you through the end. Endeavor for that little, which will bring you through this life. A tragic truth; your own strength and determination has a certain ceiling.

If F is friends, then take the F out of life, then life would be a big Fat lie.

Relative or Absolute
February 4, 2008, 5:34 pm

I happen to chance upon a conversation with a friend, which causes different school of thoughts to convergent.

All students in Singapore are smart.

Is this phrase a factual or value statement?

A large proportion of people believes that it is a value statement, since it is opinionated. While the friend of mine, believes that it is factual. The backbone to my friend judgment was that one would not make such a statement without proper analysis, hence it is factual.

However, i think otherwise from both school of thoughts. A relative statement rather than absolute. My train of thoughts are as follows. It might be factual because there has been a test conducted on a group of students from different walks of education, and they met the eligibility of smart. Hence, such students therefore are generalized as the entire Singapore students. Such statistics have loopholes, as a group of students are not capable of representing the entire population. Thus, it is only factual to this group of students. So, since it is factual to only a proportion of students, then it would be a valued statement as it just an opinion on a category of people. With this analysis, would that not imply that such statements are relative to context and not absolute when considering a bigger picture? Statements like these have to be put into context, if not it suggest certain complications.

The immaculate language has the ability to give a lucid descriptions of a beautiful landscape, but the beauty is relative to one’s comprehension if the scenery.

Has this relativity or absolute thoughts influenced the way we conduct our humble lives? Indeed, ever since the genies of the 20th century, relative thinking is becoming more prevalent and to man’s horror, the line between right and wrong is thiner. Moral values have been metamorphosed due to relativity and leaves one in a dilemma. Further result, man has become even more sophisticated than before.

Though it makes one feel accomplished through the manipulation of thoughts, but on the contrary significance and purpose of life is an endless endeavor for them. Pity is the man who search for loopholes in truths but failed to find the true meaning of life.

There can be certain things that we can be relative about, however there are some we ought not to play with fire. Your life.

If i were to tell you that you have an absolute purpose here on earth that is not temporal, will you believe? Or will you insist that absolute is the way of the past?

thoughts

I felt that this would be a better space to release my thoughts, rather than the Blogger.

Maybe, it is the unseen discrimination through the format of word press that gives me an impression that formality takes it shape better here.

Spontaneous, ramble, instantaneous and random. Thoughts take the shape of those few words. Though, they are seemingly harmless, but when they developed they turned our diminutive life around.

Musing over a sporadic thought have huge implications on lives such as the commoners, like you and me. Great economic theories developed from thoughts that spur out due to certain observations. Likewise, the most brutal form of punishment to man- isolation, all evolved from a naked thought. At the end of day, whether a thought matures to either evil or good , it is up to the thinker to decide on what he wants to do about it. If we were to leave matters to rest on its own, it would be a soil for our brain. Hence in this word press, i endeavor on my thoughts.

If thinking about thoughts has no boundaries, then i feel that it would be a aimless chase. The boundary of a book.
