Just when everyone conforms to the idea of impossible is nothing, i probe slightly deeper into it today.

‘Impossible is something’

The boundaries of humans set forth the notion that we will not be able to achieve everything even if we try as hard as we might. There are certain things that no matter how one tries, he will not be able to defy it or destroy it. For example, gravity. As much as you would want to believe that the possibility of proving gravity is a false theory, it is highly impossible. Though i do give some room of benefit that it may be possible one day. However, with the current science and technology, it proves otherwise.

Honestly, we humans are limited and the desire to achieve all things seem great, but limitation is our only obstacle. So then, who can exactly break the boundaries and truly achieve the possibility in the impossibility. The only answer i can think of is, God.

In my final analysis, maybe the phrase ‘impossible is nothing’ is a reflection of human desire to feed our own egocentric hunger. To achieve is to bring glory, but it is questionable to who do we divert this glory too? Hence, i would subscribe to the belief that ‘impossible is something’ as i am not able to move beyond the impossibilities on my own but i need divine help.

This same thesis is one that i am clinging onto in every area of my life. For now, the horrendous A levels which is taking a toil on me. God, i am finite.

a random thought.

Its a pity I couldn’t speak Japanese well, or else I would have tried to spread the gospel to them. It was very funny though, I kept on asking my friends if they know how to say “christian” in japanese, and they were like trying to pronouce weird stuffs all day long.

At times of our evangelistic life, we will encounter people who are self-declared atheist. The past weeks, I’ve heard my academics-masters classmates discussing about those super complex science theories, and the thing that particularly caught my attention was the origins of man. I was really amazed at their superior knowledge on science, I couldn’t help but to remember they are my classmates afterall. I went to converse with one particular group of boys in my class, who excels in science. After kicking off the topic with God, they explained to me how God is just a belief and not an existence. They said things like, “If God judged humans according to their deeds, why doesn’t He judge animals?”, “If God really existed, we would be seeing magical signs and sights!”, “There is no such thing as right or wrong, only thinking about it decides it.”. “Science has show evidence of man evolving from apes, we are just too smart that we abuse our intelligence to start worshipping Gods.” Yeah, I didn’t underestand much what they were saying actually, I just simply asked, “So you would only believe in non-contradicting religion?” My friends were nodding their head. Because of humans stupidity of trying to disprove christianity, its so easy to stumble those people just by asking, “How did the first life came about?”, “How was the universe even made?”. I wasn’t interested in their arguments, but was more concerned about them not believing in God.

Well, if (crazy, mad, proud, stupid, whatever etc.) people really want a scientific explaination on God’s existence, here it goes.

  1. Some things undeniably exists.
  2. My nonexistence is possible.
  3. Whatever has the possibility not to exist is currently caused to exist by another.
  4. There cannot be an infinite regress of current causes of existence.
  5. Therefore, a first uncaused cause of my current exists.
  6. This uncaused cause must be infinite, unchanging, all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-perfect.
  7. This infinitely perfect being is appropriately called “God”.
  8. Therefore, God exists.
  9. This God who exists is exactly identical to the God described in the Christian Scriptures.
  10. Therefore the God, described in the bible exist.

Simple? I got this explaination from a book, and I find it convincing for the atheists to understand it. Yet if you still cannot understand the explaination well, just know God’s existence IN US is based on one thing, our Faith in Him.

this is copied wholesale from jia jun blog, which i find worth reading. enriches my life not shit. lol.

well, where did e life and shit thing come about? from my true blue CCA. :D okay, have fun reading what a sec 2 boy can write! :D

honestly, are you proud that you are a Christian?

if so, why?

Next, if you are proud that you are a Christian, do you live like one?

Finally, are you ashamed of the gospel? Jesus was not ashamed of you. So why should we be?

Freedom is one of the channels that you can DECLARE THAT YOU ARE PROUD THAT YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN AND YOU ARE NOT ASHAMED OF HIM. :D

miss this chance, you miss crossing the gates of heavens with people you can enter with together.

build it however you want to build it like, but i am certain that to build his house we need to do it HIS way, not MINE.

We all started with the same intentions, but along the way we get so caught up the rigid of doing things that we go off tangent at times. Hence, much zeal, charisma and energy are futile in the end, for it is of no significance in building his house, since we have shifted the site from where it was originally supposed to be at.

build it his way, not ours.
